AI-assisted discovery + Website usability + Real business context

Explore the five checks

01 / THE SIMPLE EXPLANATION

A digital assistant.
On your customer’s side.

A customer can ask an AI assistant to compare suppliers, check a service or help them make an enquiry.

Some tools answer questions. Others can browse websites and help with tasks, depending on their capabilities and the customer’s permissions. Your website needs to make sense to both.

It should clearly explain who you are, what you offer, where you work and what to do next—without leaving the important details to guesswork.

WHAT IS AI AGENT READINESS?

It is a review of how easily AI tools can find, interpret and interact with your website on a customer’s behalf.

We look at the content, technical foundations, trust information and practical path from interest to enquiry.

SEARCH VISIBILITY

“Can they find my business?”

SEO and AI search work help make your pages discoverable and your expertise easier to understand.

AGENT READINESS

“Can they take the next step?”

Readiness also considers whether an assistant can navigate your site, interpret your forms and help a customer act.

These work together. AI readiness builds on sound SEO and a usable website; it does not replace them.

02 / WHAT WE CHECK

Five areas.
One joined-up review.

A clear website should work for your customers, search engines and the assistants customers choose to use.

01

Findable

Can the important pages be reached?

  • Crawl access and indexability signals
  • Navigation, sitemaps and internal links
  • Key services that are difficult to discover

A beautiful page is little use if it stays hidden.

02

Understandable

Is your offer clear without guessing?

  • Services, products and locations
  • Useful answers and clear headings
  • Structured data that matches the page

Make it easy to explain what you actually do.

03

Usable

Does the next step make sense?

  • Form labels and useful error messages
  • Quote, booking and product journeys
  • Buttons, links and mobile interaction

Help an enquiry reach the right destination.

04

Trustworthy

Do your business details add up?

  • Consistent identity and contact details
  • Relevant proof, reviews and expertise
  • Visible privacy and policy information

Give people reasons to feel confident.

05

Future-ready

Can your website adapt as tools change?

  • Accessible, well-structured content
  • Agent-friendly navigation patterns
  • Emerging standards where relevant

Solid foundations before experimental extras.

03 / WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE IN PRACTICE

Follow the customer’s task.
Find the friction.

Choose an example to see the kind of journey we consider. These are illustrative scenarios, not live tests.

THE CUSTOMER ASKS

“Find a supplier in my area and help me get a quote.”

A POSSIBLE ASSISTANT JOURNEY
1 / Understand the offer

Identify the service, area covered and who it is for.

2 / Check the business

Find relevant experience and clear contact information.

3 / Help with the enquiry

Interpret the quote form and the information it needs.

Where it can break

Vague service names, missing location details or an unlabelled form can make a simple enquiry difficult.

04 / HUMAN-REVIEWED, NOT JUST SCANNED

A list of warnings
isn’t a plan.

A scanner can flag a problem. A person helps work out whether it matters to your business.

We combine technical and AI-assisted checks with a professional review of your website, your audience and your customer journey. You receive feedback you can act on.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

Your priorities.
In plain English.

  1. What is workingThe useful foundations already in place.
  2. What is getting in the wayGaps in discovery, clarity, trust or interaction.
  3. What to address firstPractical priorities, with context for your business.
  4. Where a closer look is neededAnything we cannot verify from public pages.

A review identifies opportunities. Implementation is discussed and quoted separately.

05 / THE FOUNDATIONS STILL MATTER

AI-ready starts with
website-ready.

Sometimes the biggest obstacle is an ordinary website problem. We look beyond the AI label to spot the issues behind it.

01

SEO & content

Important pages, clear service information and answers to real customer questions.

02

Speed & mobile experience

Slow pages, awkward layouts and journeys that become difficult on a phone.

03

Website health

Visible technical issues and signs that maintenance or a deeper review may be needed.

04

Trust & privacy signals

Contact information, policies and consent wording visible to someone using the site.

05

Enquiries & conversions

Unclear calls to action and friction in quote requests, bookings or buying journeys.

06

Repair or rebuild?

Whether focused improvements could help, or a larger structural change needs discussion.

Already on WordPress or any other platform?

That can be a useful foundation. Readiness depends on how your content, forms and technical setup work together—not simply which builder or plugin you use.

06 / HOW IT WORKS

Leave with a next step.

07 / STRAIGHT ANSWERS

A few things
worth clearing up.

No need to arrive with the technical vocabulary. Start with the questions that matter to your business.

Is the AI Agent Readiness review free?

Yes. Submit your website for a free, human-reviewed assessment. If you want Bunnypants to help with improvements afterwards, we discuss the scope and cost separately. There is no obligation to proceed.

Is this the same as an SEO audit?

There is overlap, especially around access, content and structure. AI Agent Readiness also considers whether an assistant can interpret your website’s interactions and help someone progress through an enquiry, booking or product journey.

Will this make ChatGPT recommend my business?

No review can guarantee recommendations, citations, rankings or sales. We identify website issues within your control and explain improvements that can make your information clearer and your website easier to use.

Do I need a new website or an AI plugin?

Not necessarily. Many issues can be addressed through clearer content, better page structure, labelled forms or maintenance. We first look at what is there. A plugin alone does not make an entire website agent-ready.

Can you review a website that is not on WordPress?

Yes. The public-facing principles apply across platforms. If a finding needs specialist platform access or implementation work, we will explain that separately.

Will you need my website login?

Not for the initial public-facing review. We start with what a visitor can reach. Some issues require administrator, hosting or analytics access to confirm; we identify those limits rather than guessing.

Will you test real bookings, purchases or enquiries?

We can inspect the journey and the information it requires. Actions that send messages, create bookings, take payments or change data need an agreed testing scope and permission first.

Is this a security or POPIA certification?

No. The review may highlight visible warning signs or privacy gaps. It is not a penetration test, legal assessment or certification, and deeper checks may need a separate specialist review.
