The team at Vaal River Lodge & Spa are most proud of the time put in to establish the Lodge & Spa and to make it what it is today. This created a standard at the lodge and spa they aimed to uphold, but this also needed to be apparent in the design of their website. All of these boastful statements and sentiments of pride in their brand is something we needed to depict and transform into a visual delight they could be proud of.
The general tone of the designs needed to be Corporate, Earthy, Elegant, Personal and with a touch of Home away from home, if this style was awarded a name. Some of these styles don’t completely walk hand in hand, but with more information about the business itself and the message the clients wants to convey, it guided us to understand what elements to use in combination with each other to get the perfect balance in design.
Once the design was established and we understood the kind of functionality the client expected from the website, we could build the website to desire. With all the design elements converted and ready for upload, we build the website live on their domain in either Joomla or WordPress, depending on the needs of the project.
Our completely custom built websites are all CMS based and we pride ourselves in not using templates to create the look and feel a client desires. It also allows us to do the SEO of the websites to the standard of Google, while adhering to the strict rules set out by the search engine to try and ensure a high standard is upheld on websites when built.
