How can you trust someone to do a good job if they don’t even take pride in their own profession or their brand? It might seem like a small or irrelevant thing, but if you look at the standard of work done by someone who takes pride in their company, its’ brand and their job, you will clearly see that it’s of a higher standard.
For Mpitse Electrical Contractors, we designed a corporate identity that consists of a logo, letterhead, businesscard and email signature; because when you find designers who understand you, you choose the full design package. Mpitse Electrical Contractors is about everything electrical they focus on service & maintenance, as well as building maintenance. What makes them unique, is the fact that they’re a very new age electrical company, very marketing driven and very brand aware.
The look and feel of the designs had to be modern and corporate, but also urban and industrial – while keeping it bright and colourful. The colours they most preferred were lime green, blue, red and yellow, which also refer back to electrical wiring showing that they take pride in their work and what they do. As we developed the designs, it quickly became clear that the design stood out the most with a bright yellow, which was really a unique shade of yellow. It was as if a light went on when you looked at the design and when you’re in the electrical industry seems like the perfect fit.
The feeling the designs needed to portray was professionalism and it needed to be a memorable brand that could be developed over time as their business expands and develops. The final designs are going to be used for print, vehicle branding & digital media, so the standard and quality needed to be A-grade.
This was really a very nice project to work on and we can already imagine how the brand can grow into something bigger with even more unique designs waiting in the future.
