Bunnypants was asked by writer Koos Stadler to assist in marketing his debut book, Recce, online. We suggested we design a website, run an aggressive Facebook campaign and send out newsletters to market the book itself and also the launch event and date of the book release.

The campaign was successful as the event was fully booked and book sales rocketed as the book also reached Top Sellers List in South Africa and International. Koos reported that the Afrikaans version of the book hit number 1 on the top sellers list South Africa for non-fiction.

The Recce book is essentially a first-hand account of the author’s own experiences during specialized reconnaissance missions, it also captures vivid personal emotions of joy, humor and often fear. Stories during the event will evolve around Small Teams, also referred to as the Specialist Reconnaissance Teams, and the extraordinary operations conducted by two-man teams over prolonged periods of time, without any support, deep into enemy-held territories.
